24 January: CNY Red Packet Design Contest

Chinese New Year is almost here, and we know that you're all getting ready to get those red packets filled with free money.

But we see a problem here: so far, there aren't any red packets around with cool designs like tanks running across Sacred Valley, or a closeup of a Type 64...

The Contest

The Red Packet Design Contest is being held in the forums right now!

As you know, tank-inspired red packet designs aren't available anywhere, and it's a real shame. That's why we want you to participate in our contest and start creating some.

The rules are simple: to participate, each player should design the front cover of a red packet, and submit their entry in the contest forum thread. Creativity is greatly encouraged, but we require four things to be fulfilled in order to be considered as a potential winner:

1. Submissions are required to fit a size of 300 x 500 pixels.
2. Submissions should be uploaded to a image hosting site and linked to your forum post using [IMG] tags.
3. Submissions must have a red background (since it's supposed to be a red packet design!)
4. Submissions must feature these three elements:
   1. '2014',
   2. 'horse', and
   3. 'tank'

So what do you get if you win? Since it's a Chinese New Year-themed contest, here are the prizes for the top three winners:

• 1st Prize: 3,888
• 2nd Prize: 2,888
• 3rd Prize: 1,888

Event End: 03 Febuary, 2014 (Monday) @ 14:00 UTC+8 (06:00 UTC)

Please note that timings are not fixed and may vary within that range.

• Use your creativity to design the best-looking red packet!
• Participants are required to leave a post with their submissions in the event thread.
• Submissions are required to fit a size of 300 x 500 pixels.
• Submissions must have a red background.
• Submissions must feature these three elements: '2014', 'horse' and 'tank'
• The best 3 entries will be rewarded with 3,888 gold, 2,888 gold and 1,888 gold respectively.
• Entries close on 3rd Febuary 2014.
• Digital art & hand drawn art are accepted.
