Below you may find step-by-step guide over use of ‘Team battle’ game mode.

Step1

Game modes menu is situated under the ‘Battle!’ button in the garage. Per default it’s set to ‘Random Battles’. Unscroll the menu by clicking on the name of the game mode with left mouse button. Select ‘Team Battle’.

Step 2

Pop-up window will allow you to make a choice:

  1. Find an existing team.
  2. Create your own team.
  3. Select range of vehicles with which you will enter auto-search
  4. Autosearch. It will add you to the team, to which requirements one of your vehicle, from the selected range, corresponds.

If you do not set a Tier Range, you will enter the battle on a random vehicle.

Step 3. Find a team

If you wish to choose which of the existing teams you would like to enter, click ‘Search’ under the Team Search inscription.

In the pop-up window, select a team which still has free slots. If you cannot find one, just refresh the list (button # 1 on the screenshot above). Here you can also choose the range of vehicles you would like to use in team battles (button # 2 on the screenshot above) and also see the Personal rating of team commander (box # 3 on the screenshot above), which is always displayed near his nickname.

For their teams, commanders can set specific requirements to vehicles. In order to understand whether your vehicle range corresponds to team requirements, click on the team. In the right part of the window, you will find a list of team members and free slots. The amount of vehicles, which can correspond from the range you have selected to team requirements, will be displayed near them (displayed in box #4 on the screenshot above).

We would like to drive your attention to the fact that the commander can ‘freeze’ the current roster (displayed in box #5 on the screenshot above). In this case, you will first enter a team lobby as a ‘volunteer’ (clicking on the button displayed in box #6). During addition of members to the team, commander can consider adding volunteers to the roster.

Step 4

After selecting specific vehicles you will use in battle, push ‘Ready’ button. Battle will start as soon as commander considers team completed.

Step 5. Team creation.

You can create your own team by selecting members, which correspond to vehicle requirements. For that, skip Step I and choose ‘Create’ in Step 2.

In the center of the pop-up window, you will notice 7 slots. First is occupied by you, while the rest are vacant.

Please note that the ‘lock’ icons near the two lowest slots (1) can be used to block one or two slots. This will cost team 1 or 2 points accordingly.

To select a vehicle, click ‘Select vehicle’ button near your nickname (2) and select desired vehicle from the list. Above that button, you will see another ‘Vehicle Restrictions’ (3) button. By clicking on it, a new menu will pop-up where restrictions for each slot in the team can be specified. Strong vehicles roster will make team the most effective in battle.

Teams can be removed from search, so members can be added only via an invite system. To do that, click on button (4) in the bottom left corner.

In the left column just above your nickname, a ‘Team Freeze’ button is situated (5). By clicking on it, you will prohibit random players from joining the team. In this way, team participants will consist only from players you will invite (6) to the team or add from ‘Volunteers’ list.

Step 6. Inviting players.

To invite players to the team, click ‘Invite Players’ button (see Step 5).

In the pop-up window, you will notice two columns. In the left, you may select friends, clanmates or send the invite directly. By moving them to the right column and clicking ‘Invite’ you will send invites to the listed player. Once they accept your invitation, they will join the team.

Note that the button to the left of nickname shows online (green)/ offline (red) status of the player. Take it into account when sending invites.

Step 7. Communication.

Team commander can set a voice channel for the team. In order to do that, click on the button highlighted on the screenshot above in the team window, then give a unique name to your channel.

In the right column of team window, a text chat will be displayed.

In order to use ‘Voice Chat’, push and hold the assigned keyboard button (‘Q’ by default). Green ‘sound waves’ displayed over your nickname indicates that voice input is enabled.

Step 8

As soon as you have a team set up, click on the ‘Battle!’ button. Even if your team lacks players, the game will automatically add others who are currently searching for one.

Good luck on the battlefields!
